Challenge
We encountered a vibrant team of entrepreneurs from renowned consultancies, united by the dream of launching a startup in the tourism sector. Their vision was clear: to develop a social network-style application where the community could share and discover the world through TikTok-style videos, categorized by location, from cities to entire countries. The challenge was significant, not only due to the technical complexity of integrating services like Booking, Skyscanner, and Civitatis, but also the need to create a fluid and attractive user experience that could host maps and other advanced functionalities.
Implementation
Our role in this project was crucial on the technical side: we handled backend development, server creation and management, and the implementation of the complex integrations the app required. Although the UI/UX design was done by another team, we worked hand in hand to ensure that the architecture and data flow fit perfectly with the desired aesthetics and functionality. Uploading the apps to the respective stores and continuous server maintenance, along with bug fixing, were tasks we were deeply involved in, ensuring the best experience for users and project scalability.
Result
The launch of Beder became a milestone. Not only did we overcome the technical challenges, but the application won several awards and attracted the attention of investors, resulting in a significant capital injection. Users enthusiastically embraced this innovative travel platform, enjoying an unprecedented user experience in the industry. We continue to collaborate with Beder to evolve and improve the product, responding to the needs of a growing community and exploring new possibilities to further enrich the experience of its users.
