Spiritual social network for personal growth
Challenge
MoonBliss was born with a very ambitious idea: to create a social network inspired by Instagram's functionality, but focused on the spiritual world and personal growth. The goal was to offer users a space to share content, interact with the community, and access guides or mentors within the platform itself. The challenge was especially demanding, as the client wanted to replicate virtually all the features of a modern social network —photo and video posting, stories, comments, likes, and content editing— while adding new dynamics such as public and private forums, as well as the presence of "sages", mentors who shared content and advice with the community.
Implementation
At Digizone, we developed a complete platform that allowed users to create and share content in a way very similar to a traditional social network. Users could post photos and videos to their feed, create stories, interact through comments and likes, and participate in various conversation spaces within the platform. Additionally, extra features were implemented such as configurable forum systems —public, private, or by invitation— and specialized profiles for "sages", who acted as reference figures within the community. An internal advertising platform was also developed, allowing businesses and users to promote content within MoonBliss's own ecosystem.
Result
The result was a complete and very dynamic social network, capable of offering an experience similar to established platforms, but tailored to a community interested in personal and spiritual development. The project managed to bring together all the planned features and offer a very complete social environment for users. Over time, the project's promoters decided to take the platform in a new direction, and it eventually passed to another company interested in continuing its development. Even so, the project represented a great technical challenge and a very enriching experience for the entire team.
